Banana + strawberry + vanilla extract = vanilla strawberry “ice cream” without the dairy and added sugar. This traditional strawberry banana smoothie with a twist is naturally gluten free, vegan, and paleo if you switch out the rice milk with a nut milk.

1 medium banana (semi-ripe)
1 cup strawberry halves (frozen)
½ tsp. vanilla extract
2 drops almond extract
1 tbsp. hemp seeds (raw & shelled)
½ cup rice milk (unsweetened)
1 Peel bananas, break apart into smaller chunks, and put in blender.
2 Add frozen strawberry halves.
3 Add vanilla and almond extracts and shelled hemp seeds.
4 Pour rice milk over all ingredients.
5 Smoothiefy everything with the blender!
6 Enjoy your vanilla-y fruit-infused creation.
